(***) THE ECTS PHOTOS. there were 6 photos taken behind the curtain at ects 96. i have 3 of them (shots page). the guy who took them wont answer email anymore. deadlink put a thing on there news page asking for them not to be circulated which is how you KNOW they are real.

(**) IT KNEW THE TESTERS NAMES. two different people say testers reported the game using there first names even tho you never type your name in anywhere. one says a tester asked it to stop and it did. and then it apologised again the next session. unprompted.

(**) THE TAKEN HOME BUILD. someone at deadlink took a build home before the end. this is THE build everyone on irc claims to have. nobody has it. if you have it EMAIL ME.

(***) IT CANT BE PAUSED. this is from the actual spec sheet, its on the official products page in black and white. "please note: ATTRACT MODE cannot be paused." what kind of game cannot be PAUSED. think about what that means for more than one second and it stops being a feature list item

(*) VIENNA. a guy on #vaporwarez says the lab in vienna that made the AI wound down the same month the game died. cant confirm. cant even confirm the lab. deadlink never named them. "our licensor does not take enquiries."

(***) THE PHONE. deadlinks number is disconnected. i tried it myself in november 97. the fax number still picks up. think about that. the FAX still picks up.

(*) WHY IT GOT PULLED. i have heard (a) rights problem with the ai licence (b) a thing that happened with a tester (c) nothing happened and it just died like games die. im not going to print the tester thing until someone else says it first. dont email me asking. im serious.
